Pushes and Pulls, Light and Sound and Hot and Cold are the easy puzzles. They use words like push, echo and steam in 10 by 10 grids that run across and down only.
Mechanics, Heat and Thermodynamics and Modern Physics use terms like torque, centripetal, entropy, adiabatic, quark and relativity. Great Physicists lists Maxwell, Faraday, Dirac and Feynman, hidden in every direction.
Electricity and Magnetism is a medium puzzle with current, voltage, resistance, circuit, conductor, insulator, charge and electron. Great Physicists adds Ohm, Ampere, Volta and Tesla for a hard follow-up.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
