Rainbow and Black and White are easy puzzles with eight common color names each. The Red Things, Blue Things, Green Things and Yellow Things puzzles pair a color with objects a child already knows.
The hard puzzle Spanish and French Colors hides eighteen words such as amarillo, naranja, morado, rouge, bleu and jaune. Each word is a real color name in that language.
The medium puzzles list real shade names: crimson and scarlet for red, sapphire and cobalt for blue, emerald and jade for green, and lavender and magenta for purple and pink.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
