How to use these Seasons word searches
Use the easy puzzles as a calendar-time activity in kindergarten to 2nd grade, one for each season, or print all twelve for a year-long classroom binder. Science classes can use Seasons and Science for vocabulary, and families can pick the puzzle that fits the weather outside. Each PDF has the puzzle on page 1 and the answer key on page 2.

Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter each have an easy puzzle (Spring Fun, Summer Sun, Fall Days, Winter Snow) and a medium puzzle (Spring Awakening, Summer Fun, Autumn Harvest, Winter Wonders).
The four easy puzzles each use eight short words in a 10 by 10 grid, with words reading across and down only, which suits ages 6 to 8.
They go beyond the weather. Seasons and Science has EQUINOX and PERIHELION, Months and Calendars lists all twelve months, Seasons Around the World has MONSOON and SIROCCO, and Holidays All Year covers feasts from January to December.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
