How to use these Nursing word searches
Nursing students can use the medium and hard puzzles to review vocabulary on a break between classes or clinicals. Medical Terms, Body Systems and Nursing School are the hard puzzles that fit a first or second semester. They use words such as bradycardia, edema, endocrine, preceptor and practicum, which also appear in many nursing courses.
Nurse Tools, Caring Hands, At the Hospital and Checkup Day are easy puzzles with short words such as scrubs, mask, ward, pulse and heart. They suit ages 6 to 8.
Famous Nurses names historical nurses and reformers, including Nightingale, Barton, Seacole, Cavell, Dix and Wald, and does not include anyone who is alive today.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
