The puzzles Words from Luke Two, Words from Matthew Two, The Announcement and Prophecies Fulfilled use King James spellings such as Saviour, Elisabeth, Zacharias, Counsellor and favoured. Easy and medium puzzles use common modern words.
The Christmas Story, The Stable, Shepherds in the Field and Wise Men are easy 10 by 10 puzzles with eight short words, such as Mary, Joseph, baby, manger, sheep, star and gold, all across or down.
Wise Men is easy, Gifts of the Magi is medium with gold, frankincense, myrrh, Herod and Jerusalem, and Words from Matthew Two is hard, with Herod the Great, chief priests, scribes and the dream warning.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
