How to use these Islam word searches

They use common US spellings such as Quran, Muhammad, Mecca and Medina. Arabic words are written in English letters, and some have more than one accepted spelling, so a word may look different in other books.
Eid Day and Islam Basics suit ages 6 to 8. Five Pillars and Islamic Calendar suit ages 8 to 12 and include Ramadan, Shawwal, fasting, charity and Hajj. They also work for adult classes.
Islam Basics, Prophets and Five Pillars give a respectful first look for ages 6 to 12, and the hard puzzles on history and Golden Age science add context for middle school and up.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
