Spanish Words, Colors and Numbers and La Familia are easy 10 by 10 puzzles with eight short words that read across and down, which suits ages 6 to 8 and works well for early Spanish lessons.
The easy puzzles use common Spanish words such as GRACIAS and ABUELA, and the capitals, civilizations and leaders puzzles use place names and terms from Latin America. Accents and tildes are left out, as word search grids use plain letters only.
The Famous Hispanic Figures and Independence Leaders puzzles use only people who have died, such as Frida Kahlo, Simon Bolivar and Cesar Chavez, and mostly give surnames.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
