The easy puzzles suit ages 5 to 8, the medium ones ages 8 to 12, and the hard puzzles teens and adults. Each level uses a bigger grid and longer words, from SAD and PROUD to NOSTALGIA and APPREHENSION.
The medium puzzle Feelings Wheel hides the basic emotions from Plutchik's wheel, such as JOY, TRUST, FEAR, SURPRISE, SADNESS, DISGUST, ANGER and ANTICIPATION, with SERENITY, ECSTASY, GRIEF and RAGE.
The hard puzzle Brain and Body has AMYGDALA, CORTEX, ADRENALINE, DOPAMINE, OXYTOCIN and FIGHT OR FLIGHT. It is general science vocabulary, not medical advice.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
