The Easter Story (medium) and People of Easter Morning (hard) use names and places from the Gospel accounts, such as Jerusalem, Pilate, Nicodemus and Galilee. The other puzzles are about eggs, bunnies, spring and treats.
Start with Easter Basket, Bunny Hop or Egg Hunt. They are easy 10 by 10 grids with eight short words, all reading across or down, which suits ages 6 to 8.
Most are secular: dyeing eggs, spring flowers, rabbits, egg science and Easter dinner. Only a few, such as Church Morning, Holy Week and Lent and The Easter Story, cover the Christian holiday.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
