Breakfast Around the World is a hard puzzle with congee, dosa, paratha, foul medames, onigiri, arepas, pupusas, huevos rancheros and other dishes, so you can talk about what people eat to start the day elsewhere.
Morning Foods, Pancake Breakfast, Fruit Bowl and Breakfast Table have eight short words in a 10 by 10 grid, with words running only across and down. Most children from about age 6 can finish one.
Hot Drinks is a medium puzzle with coffee, tea, cocoa, latte, espresso, cappuccino, mocha, chai and cider. Morning Foods and Pancake Breakfast also name milk and juice. None of the puzzles list alcohol.
Easy puzzles (10 by 10, words across and down) work from about age 6. Medium puzzles (13 by 13, diagonals added) suit ages 8 to 11. Hard puzzles (16 by 16, every direction, backwards too) are for older kids and adults.
Page 2 of every PDF is the answer key, with each word marked where it hides. When you play online, the Show answers button marks them on the grid.
